MSA is partnering with English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers in the summer of 2010 to give the youth soccer players of America the opportunity of a life-time – the chance to be recruited by EPL club Bolton Wanderers.
The week long courses will give 60 players per week the opportunity to work with world-class Bolton Wanderers coaches who, at the end of the week, will choose 3 players to return to England in November to participate in the 5 day/4night Grand Skills Final. Here they will be joined by other young players from all over the world to compete to win a weeks scholarship place on the Bolton Wanderers Year Long Scholarship program.
On top of this, scouts from a number of other EPL clubs will be watching the finalists during their stay in the hope of recruiting some talented soccer prospects.
Those players who show enough promise to attend the Grand Skills Final will all receive:
4 night full-board accommodation at the De Vere Whites
Academy style coaching provided by Bolton’s UEFA qualified Coaches
Tour of the Reebok stadium
24-hour supervision
Premier League match tickets to Bolton Wanderers V TBD in the fall 2010
Return airport transfers from Manchester to Bolton
Certificate and prize presentation
Scrimmage games in front of other Professional Club Scouts
(all players are responsible for expenses incurred on the trip)
STAFF
All coaches will be sent from Bolton Wanderers FC in the UK. All will be UEFA qualified academy coaches who have experience working with the some of the most talented youth players in the world.
