Year Long Scholarship Program

The scholarship program is an opportunity for players to live, study and train with the Bolton Wanderers International Academy. As well as maintaining an important level of education on such topics as sports psychology, fitness and nutrition, the program offers the chance to work with professional Bolton Wanderers soccer coaches who will continuously assess and monitor your training. There are English classes for those who want to learn, as well as full medical care from BWFC physiotherapists.

As part of the program you will receive training and match-day kit and a season ticket for all home matches. You will further have the chance to gain your FA Level One coaching qualification, giving you a different insight into the way the game is played.

This scholarship is the chance to fulfill your dream whether it is to follow development pathways in the UK through education or through playing. This program will teach you valuable life skills which you can use in any aspect of life.

The qualification gained should you complete the program is equivalent to the level of qualification obtained in order to earn acceptance into university. In some circumstances the skills can be transferred and used as credits in your freshman year.
